Objectives

Quality and appearance are probably the top two priorities I have for this printer. Ease of assembly and flexibility for future improvements are secondary priorities (as I'd like to get printing before very long and I'd like to be able to improve it). Then price is the third priority.

Parts

I bought many of the parts in kits. Below I've listed the sources of the parts.

Electronics

Panucatt's Azteeg X3 v1.1

I chose Panucatt for their reputation on the buildlog.net forums, my personal interaction with Roy (the owner) and the nice finished look of the board.

Power Supply

Platform

Automation Technologies Inc.'s ORD Bot Hadron 3D printer mechanical platform Kit

Extruder

Extruder - SeeMeCNC EZstruder extruder Hotend - Probably J-Head hotend
