[MakeLV] Contest on Thingiverse w/Bonus for MakeLV members

I'm presently running a contest on Thingiverse for holiday tree toppers that
fit on a base I designed.

If you have never done any 3D modeling before, I recommend Google Sketchup.
It is free, very easy to use and can easily export Makerbot compatible
files.
Blender is a good alternative, but it has a steeper learning curve.

What the printable by Makerbot requirement means to you:
You are limited to (safely) 90mm x 90mm x 100mm.
Avoid sharp overhangs - Try to split the design into multiple parts.
Email me questions if you are not sure how to make your object printable.

$15 dollar Sparkfun gift certificate for best redesigned base (still has
same size mounting peg)

Bonus to MakeLV members:
The first 3 MakeLV members that enter (note in msg you are from MakeLV) will
get your design printed (assuming it works) along with a base.
I'll distribute then in February.
