To me, as a new person, the name Hive didn't communicate anything.  I 
needed to get an explanation about what it meant. Whereas I 
understood the terms "Make" and "Maker", in connection to the 
articles I have seen about maker fairs.  They have a lot of existing 
awareness, so there may be a benefit to keeping at least that portion 
of the name.
