[MakeLV] Science Fair preparations

I have the following plastic tables from Sam's club:
4'x2' adjustable height
6'x2.5' @ 29" high
I'll bring the 4'x2' one on Saturday. It couldn't hurt to bring a second
one though. We could make it double wide or set it up in the back right
corner for an out of reach display.
I have a spare 18"(?) lcd screen I don't mind lugging in. It could just be
used to display what someone is doing on a laptop.
Do we have a sign or something that says: "Sponsored and Made Possible By
the AEDC" or something? I realize we will be sharing table space, but
still. It would be good to show our thanks and good advertising.
I do have a light jar working. I keep it on the table on my porch.
However, it doesn't look good when in the light and honestly it isn't
incredibly bright even at night. While it can make the jar glow (I still
haven't found a good way to do the frosting so I have colored glass in the
jar), it isn't much good at providing light for walking except on very dark
nights. BTW, the light jar materials in the space are for anyone to use.
I was thinking about the 3D printer(s) being more interactive... What if we
let them generate a 3d barcode image, convert the image into a simple 3d
shape (preferably in some automated way... is there a script or SketchUp
plugin to transform a B&W image into a raised object?), and then set the
printer to print (with assistance as needed of course). Then they can
paint the raised portion with a black marker or paint and glue a backing
pin on the back if they want to wear it.
