While the Epson conversion sounds very interesting, and may be useful 
for other things, such as printing posters on matt board, the ability 
to get a small custom PCB has really dropped over recent years.

Here is a site that will do one-off's at a good price.  They batch 
process, so you typically have to wait a bit longer.
