Just to reinforce some of Josiah's points ....
The soldering activity was great ...the kids loved it! Actually anything
where kids are working an activity where they can make something and take
it home is great. A craft ... a birdhouse .... but it has to be unique ...
I happened to notice another table that had build your own marshmallow
shooters ... that has been a Makerfaire staple in the past .. glad we
didn't do it :)
I liked the open feel of the opposing booths .... it created "our space"
also I was glad to see there were more of us on the front side of the table
interacting with folks rather than taking across the table at them.
