I didn't see anything on the Lehigh Valley Convention & Visitors' Bureau calendar for the area. I think most organizations will have a Memorial Day hangover and are leaving the weekend open. Sounds like a perfect opportunity for us!
I am going to plan on having the space open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. I'd like to propose the following schedule of courses:
Start Time End Time Course 1 Course 2
10:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. A B
11:45 a.m. 12:45 p.m. C D
1:30 p.m. 2:30 p.m. A D
2:45 p.m. 3:45 p.m. C E
It's up to us to determine the courses, but I would suggest that A & C be Intro to circuits I & II. The D course should probably be the partnership with indiemade craft market/Lehigh Valley Handmade Alliance (if they are able to find a craft person interested in doing a one-hour instruction course). Bunching the D course up will allow a non-member to get in and out relatively quickly and not spend the whole day in the space. The B & E course could be a more advanced course, or more specialized interest course.
Thoughts?
