Hey everyone,
This past hack on saturday we had some Arch Linux guests at the space. Upon
speaking to one of them (Kyle) it seems that I was simply persuaded to
purchase one of those USB FM tuners that can be used for Software Defined
Radios. Now the recommendation I am about to give isn't optimized for most
lower frequencies and is good for reception only. However for any and all
bands that technicians may use this is perfect.
The device mentioned can be found here (and a recommended dealer that is in
the US... not the cheapest):
http://www.nooelec.com/store/software-defined-radio/sdr-receivers/tv28tv2.html
Price here is for $20.95 after basic shipping.
Merry Christmas! Great place for those gift credit cards to be used!
