I received a broken TV also. My Dad already swapped out the inverter.
The backlight seems to work, but nothing shows on the screen itself.

Anyway, we'd be glad to help unload. That's pretty standard. :-) As
Tom said, we'll find a use. It could be neat as digital signage or
something. We could even rent out space on it to advertisers. :-)
