Ha - it wasn't great.  I worked in a VS6 development shop at the time, was
10 years ago.  VSS came with it and was tied to all the IDEs

Source safe is why subversion managed to get popular. Source safe is/was
just that broken.

Not a bad intro. Very (too?) simple, but also very accessible. Overall, I'd
say it's a good primer on Git for those already familiar with some other
source control tool.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who followed the tutorial without
prior experience. Was it helpful? Clear? Did it successfully evangelize you
into a Git user?
