Rob,

I'm not ever at the space, so it would be harder than you expect to watch
me make slag balls. I live in Ohio, near the Air Force Museum at
Wright-Patterson AFB. I would suggest that you look for an adult class in welding
at your local high school.

Welcome Pat and Sam!

It oh so cool to have folks with different interests joining the group!

Sam: my son Nick is intrigued by steampunk ... he was fascinated at
the steampunk area at Maker Faire Bay Area and he likes collecting
old things ....
Here is a picture of him with his steampunk hat he picked up while we
were there:

(yea ... and some other gut he met)

Pat: I've been wanting to learn how to weld for sometime .... I'd
enjoy looking over your shoulder (with proper eye protection :) ) to
try and learn from someone ...

Hope to meet you at the space soon .... I'm in western NJ so it take
some effort to get out there .... so I'm not there as much as I would
like .... but I try to make up for it by being very verbose on the
list :)

Cheers!!!

--> Rob
