[MakeLV] Wiki account?

If you login as an admin, you can goto Special:UserLogin and create one for
them. Set the password to something simple and then have them change it. As
a non-authenticated or non-admin user it won't give the option to add an
account.

If you added a captcha plugin to the site, you could probably open it up to
the public again.
