[MakeLV] Printing PCBs

All,

I have a small circuit that I would like to turn into a pcb it has only about 10 components.
Has anyone here made their own PCBs and could give advice on how to do it?
I've seen some that involved printing an image of the pcb with a laser printer and then remelting the toner onto copper to form the mask.
