Yeah, probably, but part of the course is building the BoArduino so
includes soldering and basic component instruction. We're still getting a
grasp of what this looks like, but that's the best of our knowledge pulled
together last night.

I think this is the kit he's using. He specifically mentioned Adafruit's
kit: http://www.ladyada.net/make/boarduino/, but I expect he's adding some
other things to use the boarduino as a tv-b-gone which makes up for the
additional expense.
