Mea Culpa - I said spherical radius when I meant spherical diameter.  My previous message should have read as follows.

Today I bought two white plastic colanders with a sperical diameter at the Dollar Store.  They can transmit light of various colors.  They can serve as contact lenses for Shakesphere's existing eyes.  They are not ideal but may serve until a better model is available.  
 
Also for the record, Michaels has styrofoam like spheres available with a circumference of 24 3/4" for about $14 each.

They make globes around that size for outdoor post lights.  However, they won't be that cheap.  An alternative might be some white beach balls, if the seams won't be too distracting.  http://www.beachballs.com has any size and color imaginable.
