Apparently habitat for humanity has a string of stores that sell used or partially used building supplies, works like goodwill apparently. Theres one where circuit city used to be, i was hoping to check this out a couple days ago but ran out of time. Just figuired it would be a good place to get cheap supplies and well as being an interesting story.
