I believe Ellis was talking about the admission to World Maker Faire. I have written to a friend at the NY Hall of Science (were the event occurs) to see if we can get a discounted ticket price. The bus is a separate and additional cost and what we charge depends in part on how many people we can recruit to ride, but I am guessing $30/person would be close.
I'm confused by your response. I don't know who "they" refers to.
Did MakeLV charter a bus or is it still in discussion? I'm not sure if
there was enough interest or not. I am trying to arrange
transportation for LV Tech, and I would rather see if we can't pool
our resources together. We certainly won't have as many people going,
so we can't justify chartering a bus by ourselves (5 - 10 people, so
probably just renting a van if we go it alone), but if MakeLV is
serious about chartering a bus, then LV Tech certainly has some people
who would be interested in joining you. I can get more exact numbers
if you want, I only have estimates based on an LV Tech meetup from
earlier this week.
