<div><br></div><div>2) Mount your x-axis pulley on the motor shaft backwards for correct belt alignment.</div><div><br></div><div>3) You need one bearing on the rear side of the x-axis, two on the front side. The front side has the y-axis motor.</div>
<div><br></div><div>4) Some bearings will work better on some rods than others, swap a bunch around until you find good matches of bearing to rod. Rods should be cleaned - steel wool, then WD40 (wiped clean), then bearing oil.</div>
<div><br></div><div>5) You need 4x springs from clicky-pens, and it helps if they are identical. You will also need some vinyl fish tank hose to make flexible z-axis motor mounts. (I'll bring some Wed)</div><div><br>
</div><div>6) The z-axis motor couplings, in my opinion, are the weakest and least-awesome printed part on the machine. <span>The nut traps on them are also not even close to the correct size on mine.</span><span> I found some machined options, we may want to swap them out if we have problems. See link in Prusa i2 build instructions for more info.</span></div>
<div><span><br></span></div><div><span>7) There are some SMD components that can be soldered to the heated bed. Two LEDs and a resistor - not required, but we should throw them on -I did not include them in the parts list. I'm going to order some for mine and will get many extra.</span></div>
